hope you're having a good weekend? funny thing happened at work last night; there was a hair in someone's risotto and she ran to the loos and was sick everywhere, bridget went white, everything was a tense melodrama involving an in-depth petty enquiry into who exactly the hair belonged to (the culprit was short and black but longer than john's and not curly mercy be to the lord) i thought it was funny- i think you would also have seen the funny side-it made me miss you :(

Sorry about the typos...I corrected them before posting but they did not save. Anne thinks it is because of being near to Wales and therefore the server does not recognize good English when it sees it!!! Must ask Vaughan and Mary ( when they sober up after today) whether they recognize this failing.

Here we are down at Anne and Mark's surrounded by Welshman and guess what they beat Ireland in Dublin to win the triple crown and we played absolutely abysmally against the Scottish and lost. Not only did we lose but Charlie hodgson came on as a substitute. Now we know there is no hope left!!! BUT and there is a BUT.... we, the mighty blues, beat Man Utd 1-0 at Old Trafford to go into the semi final of the FA Cup which I think is played at Wembley. What is more I am going to the centre of English Football (Fratton Park in case you have forgotten) to watch Pompey play Birmingham on Wednesday night courtyesy of Sheppy, who has been invited to a hospitality box has secured me an invite bless him.(bless Anne too....had to say that in case Maura reads this posting!!!). Should be a real celebration for Happy Harry's Army to say the least.

Sounds like you are still having a really boring time and missing us all so you had better try to start enjoying yourself soon!!!

Finally we went to a poultry and fowl sale with A and M this afternoon. We saw lots that we would have liked to join Marj and Eth but good sense took over and we shall look to get a rescue bird instead. Still it was really goood and there was a really good breakfast place in the auction centre so a greasy spoon hit the spot on a wet morning. Cholesterol on a plate....fantastic!! Almost as good as roast guinea pig...have you had one yet or is it still goat testicles that are on offer? You need plenty of b.lls to eat them!!
