Wow what a lovely surprise... After Lizzie and Howard playing a trick on me I was delighted to see Lizzie waiting in arrivals for me with a huge hug and smiley (friendly face) and some starter pack gifts to help me in Korea- phrases and things!

We took the coach and cab to Howards work and all had lunch and then was shown my apartment (very nice... heated floors and stocked out with toiletries - they were so welcoming to me - feel like a VIP :) and dropped my bags off) and had a good catch up with some normal tea (absolute bliss) and finally some relaxation!!

I sat in afew of Howard's classes too - ot was really nice and I got really into it as all the korean people seem to be nice and have English names (like "Joker" - cos his smile looks like The Joker in Batman, and initials and other random nicknames like "MP3"... they are sorting me out a korean name later this week)... ahh so everyone was very nice and they called me the pretty english girl - and thought it was funny my name is Candy lol... they all love us westerners and are all really sweet and nice... we all (me, Howard, Lizzie and some of the more advanced Korean students) went for a Korean BBQ style dinner - everything is so strange here like we wrapped the food in leaves to have a munch... you get all this free stuff on the table (which is a demonstration of how good your host is - to fill you are and provide you with extras - mainly pickled things - yum to pickled raddishes - never thought I would say that!)... and the dumplings or MUL-MANDU (ㅡㅕㅣㅡ무여) is good!!

Slowly learning some phrases - everyone is so keen to learn and improve their English and the hospitality is amazing... I know these next to weeks with Lizzie and Howard are gonna be amazing :D
