have literally few minutes so need to be quick!!! this morning flew over the nasca lines...was amazing to think that someone had made them on the ground as they are only to be viewed from sky! at first hard to see shapes as land is so dry and there are many lines but once you get the knack you can appreciate the beauty...my fave was the monkey!!
my group all seem nice, no one that is esp me but all fun to be around. there is a couple who went to same uni as me, both teachers, one p.e, heading to same places, already been to mex city and done a trek america tour..oh and learned to dive!!! all very coincidental! i´m the youngest and also have the biggest bag... i actually feel like the very girly diva one of the group which is strange!!!!
lima was beautiful and then on journey to huacahina drove through pisco where they was so many families living in tents or half houses using bamboo sheets after the devastation of the earthquake. i couldn´t help but shed tears...this is third world country stuff and i probably have more possesions on me than a whole family. really is sad,.... but the positivbe is the families are all so close and happy, its the simple life where love means everything.
also stayed in huacahina where were in the desert...sand boarding...was fab and i was cheeky enough to ask and be given chance to drive snad buggy!! was lots of fun altho not sure passengers wre too happy when i suggested it but they said my driving was ok!!!
oh ballesta islands....saw lots of sea lions, lots of species of birds and a few penguins!! yeah!!! got absolutely soaked on boat though and one point had th hold a plastuc sheet over my head so didn´t get drenched further!!!
er must go, hand hurts from speed typing!!!
over and out....off to a museum to see mummy´s in open coffins!!! nice!!! x x x
