We walked around the posh shopping area today in J.paulista. I mainly stayed on Augusta Av. just to get my bearings. There are some amazing bookshops here, where you can go for the whole day and read a whole book and not pay for it at all. I think this is because the poor people can´t afford education here so here they can be self taught.
Amazing interiors in this posh area. Nicer than england. Its like miss sixty, diesel prices. Crazy- chiloquas (something like that i think).
After this anyway I went to the supermarket (the cheap 1) to do my shopping and realised they dont sell mushrooms. MUSHROOMS this is like my daily heaven!!! argh!! how do you live without them...
ate out again. mmm hummmm wow, it goes dark here at 5pm everyday of the year tho so they tend to eat the big meal at around 3pm and thats it for the rest of the day really. Then we went to a show/ concert with some of Ju´s friends. They are all wonderful, and the show was by the church. everyone was dancing around in the street and eating barbeque and corn or milho. this is special!!
zomped out on the sofa when we got bak, thinking i could stay up to watch some telly, but my tired eyes failed me!! great welcoming day
