I didn't go to London in the end and glad I didn't as Dad had a leak in the roof that came all down the walls (fixed now) and I had an abscess above my front tooth which again is fixed after some painful drilling and rodding up my root canal.. ooo missus!!

Went to see Gill who is having some further radical treatment in the form of goats serum and again she is very positive so I'll keep you posted.

Also off to my friend Karens house next Friday for a night in with Ange and a bottle of wine so I'll let you know how it goes but it may become a regular thing, so watch this space.

OK off to Durham now so I'll speak later.

Pictures are AMAZING! guys sooooo wish I as with you! Journal is good too really hope you keep it up feels like we are involved when we get such a detailed account of your travells. A bit disappointed that you haven't mentioned our additions to the message board, are you reading these? I love the way the mothers are ditinguished as one is Mum and the other Mam!

Karen you and Andrew are on my invitation list for the next fancy dress party - it was a good night the pictures are great - Ian managed to get in everyone looking drunker than everyone else.

Well the photos are amazing it took ages to work through them all but they are fantastic. I would have felt the same about the poor elephants and yours had no painting on at all. Hope it was the malaria tablet that made you sick but guess that is you in the garden reading your book after returning to your hotel.

Have you started reading Life of Pi yet?? hope you like it. My colleague says that southern India is just the most amazing place so keep taking those pics and look I forwad to your next installment.

Hi, so I've finally figured out how to find this site and use it. Sounds like you're having fun and like everyone else, am totally jealous. England is s*** in every way, getting cold and now and miserable and misty. Work is naf and my good luck is still away on holiday...but enough about my misery, your travels are inspiration enough.
Going to london tomorrow night to stay with Lorraine till Sunday. Surprising Rachel for her birthday on Sat night if i can organise it. She thinks i can't afford to go, well actually that is true, but should be fun.
Apparently Chris Norton is out of prison but can't leave country so is travelling round. You know you can't go anywhere without bumping into people from home, world is smaller tan you think!
You describe things really well in your journal so keep it up cos reading it is like a holiday!

Hey guys! Just got off the phone to Orange (was on hold for about 1/2 an hour). Not much help i'm afraid, the network coverage in India is fine but this is what you can do; go to settings select network selection and try all of them as you may not be compatable with the one you are on (i presume you have already done this), you can also try turning off your phone and take the battery out, put back in and turn on after 10 mins? Lastly you can cal the pay as you go help line on +447973100451, you will need to tell them your EMEI no. you have to make this call your self as they will do a diagnosis and may ask you to do stuff with the phone. Sorry couldn't be more help, if you need me to do anything else let me know, am working tomorrow through til Frday but will try to check emails daily and have phone on at lunch. Great to speak to you yesterday, I really appreciate you calling in. Hope the elephant ride was enjoyable as I know you were wery excited about it and that the early start of 8 a.m was worth it.

Looks like Lins hasn't been included on this webpage as she hasn't had the updates but I have given her the address now so she will log on, but if you have to register for her can you do that at some point.

All is well here and your call yesterday spurred Pwandad into telling me all about when he was in India, I was very polite and listened but Pwanny would have said "Yes, but it's all changed now you were there years ago!!" I can just hear her saying it! poor Pwanny she would have loved to hear all about your adventures but I'm sure she's watching instead.
