We are now in the National Park. We left Russell after a relaxing time at the Duke of Marlboro hotel. We then drove down to Coromandel which took all of one day. Have spent loads of time in the air and now in the car. We had champagne which was corked on oz flight from Brisbane to Auckland - a new one on me. Great hotel location in Auckland on the quay at the Sebel. Motel which had all the facilities we required and was right on the quay. We were able to walk out onto the quay and choose our restaurant. The only excitement of our trip from home to London and onto Singapore was the Chinese waitress in the BA lounge at terminal 4 who, if you put your drink down, cleared it up.
