Having taken Sue to the chilly south of the country, we next took her to the steamy and tropical north to witness one of the world's greatest spectacles, Iguazu Falls, on the border with Brazil and Paraguay. Off to Dave's Estancia - La Margarita for a few days rest and relaxation in the countryside on a gen-u-ine gaucho ranch with Brian's mum, Sue. Bri here - mum and I have finally shaken off Gaynor and her constant ridiculing of the glorious potato and escaped to El Calafate in the south of Argentina to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. It's beautiful, the glacier is incredible, a huge hunk of ice from which large chunks keep falling spectacularly into the sea, we saw about 3 huge falls while we were watching. Brian's mum arrived safely from Ireland and we spent the weekend taking her around the tourist spots of Buenos Aires.
