Ah, it's nice to be back that's for sure. But let me tell you that was a fun trip, mostly when I was in Albania. Wait I haven't told you about that yet have I… well pull up a chair, and I will tell you about what I did in Sarande, Albania. The day I flew in I was kind of grumpy so I took a nap. When I woke up from my hour long nap, it was 5:00. I decided that it would be good for me to get a little bit more of sleep so than I would have fun the next day. I woke up early that morning so I could see the sunset in on Mount Butrinti. The view was amazing!!! I took a local bus; the drive was only 35 minutes. That is pretty good. It was quick and easy. I brought some hot coco and some warm biscuits from the bakery. I stayed on the mountain till 12:00. Once I got back in town I went for a swim in the pool. I ate dinner at Taverna Beqo. It wasn't too expensive, and it had goat/lamb stew!!! I didn't care for it though. My waiter was very nice, and he tried to help me with as much as he could. He was a sweet elderly man. He and his wife owned the restaurant. I gave him a big tip because he was so helpful. When I had got back to my hotel, my bed was a mess. Then I remembered that I had to rush out my bedroom that morning because I was about to miss my bus. I called room service and asked them to please change my sheets and make my bed. They were glad to do it, so I was ready to go to bed. The next morning I woke up, and I saw rashes all over me. I thought that I had just brushed up against something I am allergic to. I had put some lotion on the rash, took a shower, changed my clothes, and the scurried out the door. I then went to a place called Blue Eye. That is a beautiful place that was full of gods beautiful creations. There I got to take a canoe onto the bright blue lake. I sat out there for a couple of hours. It was extremely relaxing. After I got out of the boat it was time for a snack. I found a concession stand with granola bars. I bought a bar, and then went out to the garden. The garden was right by the lake. In the garden there was gorgeous hand carved sculptures. My favorite sculpture was one of a little boy, and his dog weeding the garden. Then I walked down to the Nariano, which was a restaurant that had really good food. I had a green salad and a bowl of mixed meat. The bus came shortly after I ate, and it brought me to the hotel. The next day I got on a bus and drove around all of Sarande, Albania. It was very interesting because I was able to see all the town people's houses. The interesting thing about their houses was that all of the houses were humungous. When it started to get dark, I got off the bus and wondered around till I could find a place to eat. I ate at a restaurant called Wraseon. It had the best pizza I have ever tasted. When I got back to the hotel, I packed up, went to bed, for the next morning I would be going home.
