I went to Dean & Deluca for the second time today. Mom would love it. And I think if Take Home Chef was going to do an episode in NYC, it would definitely be there. Maybe I should go there more often...I do love Take Home Chef. Also, I love that people in NYC ride vespas. It's so cool. Random thoughts... Well, yesterday, after an extremely long work day (12.5 hours to be exact), I successfully hailed my first cab. Kinda exciting. I probably would have been more excited if not for the exhaustion. And, more random thoughts. Why don't New Yorkers talk on their cell phones when they are walking? At home and at school, cell phone = life, as in can't survive without it, on it wherever you go. Maybe all the people here have Blackberries? ...

Random thoughts for the day: Even though I love it here, I would never have a baby here. I always feel bad when I see babies on the subway. And, a ton of New Yorkers have dogs. I don't really get that. The poor dogs don't ever get to run around and play in the grass. I saw a dog park my first weekend here, but it wasn't even grass, it was sand. Poor city pups.

Oh yeah, I had my first NYC celebrity encounters today. Since Lindsay is interning at NBC, I got to help out (more like sat in a chair for 5 hours) at NBC's Project Runway photo shoot. It was pretty cool to see all the people from the show, but especially Heidi (Klum). She is amazingly beautiful in person, moreso than in any photo I've ever seen of her. And, it was so easy to figure out who the designers were. They completely stuck out. But they were ador...
