Shanghai, China
Having to drag myself out of bed at 4.15am wasnt the easiest thing to do. The joy of a 6am flight. We left Adelaide an time and arrived at Sydney on time. Qantas gave us 1 hour to get from the Domestic to the international terminal. We made it with minutes to spare. As we arrived at the gate Final Boarding was being called. The flight to Shanghai was very smooth and quiet. Most of the people on board were Chinese. The plane was only half full, so we could spread...
Pucon, Chile
24th Jose makes us our last breakfast as we are leaving for the airport in Calama at 9am. The drive is about 1 hour, and our flight is at 11.40am. It is so peaceful sitting on the porch having breakfast. All you can hear is birds singing. The sky is beautiful blue, not a cloud in sight. There is not a breath of wind. We are enjoying the atmosphere so much I lose track of time and we nearly miss our shuttle bus. We arrive at the airport with 15 minutes to spare...

The flight departs half an hour late, but we dont miss our connecting flight to Calama. Arrive in Calama and our shuttle bus to San Pedro de Atacama is waiting for us. The trip to San Pedro takes just over an hour. We are dro...
El Calafate, Argentina
16th Its pack up time, and we have to be at the airport by midday. The taxi driver is an honest guy and doesn't try to rip us off (apparently its very common for them to rip tourists off.) Flying with LAN again, and our flight departs on time. It’s a 3,000k, 3.5 hour flight as we head down to the bottom of South America. This is called the Patagonia area, and its full of Glaciers and snow capped mountains. Can’t wait to get there! Arrive on time, ...
