This was a stopover after the smoothest 7 hour flight ever. Early morning arrival and 6 hours to kill, what to do, what to do? Well, first we get the Maccas breakfast. Then we paid to spend 6 hours in the Qantas lounge which had snacks and beverages available and the best view of planes coming in and out of the airport, almost like a toy set. Day 11 : Temperature today 86 F. Spent the day by the pool. Lily made a friend who is from Sydney, her name is Victoria. Henry was unwell and spent the afternoon in the room. Went to a place called LuLu's for dinner. Our last night here in Maui. What a beautiful place, every time I see a palm tree I will think of Maui.

Day 10 : Temperature today 86 F. Today we took a drive along the coastline and stopped at Honokowai, Kahana and Kapalua. Wow, so much greenery, water crystal clear, just beautiful. Had a tiny sprinkle of rain, bell boy says it was a blessing, not rain. Henry appears to have caught the same bug Lily had, so Paul and Lily went to fetch some take away food from Panda Express.

Day 9 : Temperature today 86 F. Spent another by the pool, same order as yesterday for 2 banana smoothies (1 each for Lina & Lily) Henry's usual chicken strips and fries for lunch and Lily's usual quesadilla with cheese and tomato. Went to Laihina and had dinner at a place called Longhi's - finally a nice menu where your only choice is fried.

Day 8 : Temperature today 86 F. Spent the day by the pool. Went to a local shopping centre and had dinner at the Outback Steakhouse. Amazingly, it was Aussie themed, food was pretty average. Spent a fair bit of time in the Barnes and Noble Bookshop.
