We reached Waimanu on a cloudy and somewhat rainy day. The only ways into or out of Waimanu are by foot, by boat, or by air. This picture is of the western wall of the valley from, obviously, the beach. For perspective, the valley walls of both Waimanu and Waipi'o are over 1000 feet high
