My trip to the island of Statue of Liberty was the same as the movie of Titanic... it was awesome...I, together with my friend, bought tickets (p.s. getting tickets was also kinda funny: we wanted to buy tickets using our debit cards, but there was insufficient sum of bucks, so we decided to borrow the half amount of the ticket price from a kind person called Lisa, and the other half, we paid ourselves). When we're engaged in solving this problem (ticket story), it was almost 4:30 p.m., that mean we could have missed the Ferry to the island. As we received the tickets, we ran towards the Ferry, "big boat" was already beeping...I said to my friend: we gotta run, and hurry up, and we can catch the ferry... and thank God, we caught the boat in the nick of time... and the most interesting happened in the Ferry, when we were chasing the ship, all the people were watching the situation, and when we got on the boat people on the board applaud us... cheering... Good job (in russian:молодцы)
So, finally, we are in the Ferry... there were two girls on the board: Kate (oh, my goodness, she was the girl of my dream) and Britney. I don't know what happened to me, but i couldn't help staring at her, i couldn't do anything but looking at her for a long time... She was glamorous... So, i came up to her and introduced myself, she said she's from California traveling New York city. Awww, we fell in love with each other... those instants were the happiest moments of my life... That's a true love...
We did a trip to the island, and then we travelled the New York city... unfortunately, we had to say bye at the end, but promised to meet each other next year. She's calling to me every day now. So, America gave me a love, moments that i'd never forget about... I'm so happy that i applied to Work and Travel program, and i want to thank InterExchange for making me the most happiest person in the world. I suggest everyone to have this kinda opportunity, to travel the US, possibly, you'll find your real love as well... Good luck to every "iecer" and new applicants of iec (interechange)...
