San Antonio was a huge suprise. When we arrived it looked like any other city but has an amazing RiverWalk which is below street level and looks like a mini Venice. Its miles of river which is flanked by bars and resturants where everyone eats Alfresco or on one of the river boats.....no roads or traffic.

We were only there a night so spent most of our time on the Riverwalk but did check out the Alamo which is apparently very important in Texas.

Prepared ourselves for a 12/13 hour drive through the night to Albuquerque by having Sausage and Mash in an English Pub while watching the World Cup Final.
