hello,hello and welcome to the first entry of my travel blog!

So far not much has happened. I got up yesterday morning bid and teary farewell to loved ones and then got on a bus, 2 planes and a train and something like 34 hrs hours later here i am in sunny england! (well occasionally the sun breaks through the cloud cover!)

I'm currently staying with Joan, a good friend of my mum's, in her little duplex built in the 1800's. all the houses around here are a bout that old and they are such beautiful old houses. And each has a a little garden, with (yes GREEN) trees and plants and what not.

Anyway apologises for the lack of an exciting entry, but hey at least you i've arrived alive and well!
