Well thats the end of my time as a Dragoman girlie, said goodbye to Elle (the truck) on sunday and everyone is starting to head off their seperate ways. Managed to get booked up for 5 days on a proper sailing boat in the Galapagos this Friday so the next part of the adventure is sorted.

Arrived in Otavallo last night after spending 4 nights in the rainforest. Lots of trekking and looking for nasty scary creatures. Spend a very enjoyable day hiking down a river, chest deep in water, then that afternoon took to the river in big inner tubes and floated down for a few hours with just the sounds of the Jungle and some Cuba Libre for company. Lots of touristy shopping in the market today then on to Quito.

Arrived in Banos for a bit of adventure. Have just spent 3 days lazing on the beach in the north of Peru so it'll be nice to do something active again.

Left behind the lovely tranquility of the highlands and headed back to the coast. Spent a couple of days lazing by pools and have just arrived in Lima. My first impressions of the capital arent great. Sprawling noisey and smelly. Only two nights here then back on the road.

Well I made it, 4 days of hiking throught the most beautiful scenery imaginable all to get here. Speachless
