I told you before you left - you will see a lot of things that are worse than in the States... Are there any that are better?
Anyway, I can understand now how some people run away from places like that and go all the way to Norman, OK to get their degree... ;-)

To our defense we haven't really tried. The langauge barrier can be hard to get over. When we start trying and failing ithen we will have to come up with some more creative excuses.

hey blaine, its me again, dude...
i was very saddened to read that you had lost your passport (or it got stolen) -- it is the most unpleasant experience one can have when traveling in a foreign country...
hopefully, the american administration will prove itself worthy of its world admiration and you will be able to sleep on monday evening in Bulgaria...
