I write this quick entry as we wait for our connecting flight, we are currently sitting in Mumbai airport, this is an experience!

As we got off the plane from Heathrow we were pleasantly suprised by our arrival being greeted by a customer services bloke who took us to one side after confirming we were due to connect to Bangkok....he led us along the corridor to the passport and security check area, he then dissapeared as quickly as he had arrived leaving us with a sense of "your on your own now"

The passport control and security checks are carried out by what can only be described as the indian army, guns all over the shop and stern military attitudes, whilst i was being frisked i was told to empty all of my money, i had about 40 quid and the officer proceeded to stare at the money and ask me what i thought it was worth for some rupee, slightly intimidating at the time but i think its just their way, i was allowed to move on after performing my best stupid act pretending i didnt understand.

On the up side, the departure lounge has bed like chairs to lay on, as i type Beck is fast asleep as are Vicky and Jay!

we only have about an hour here, should be boarding our final flight to Bangkok soon.
