What lovely food and wine. Oh Emirates you have spoilt us!!

Wow how technology has changed! From the year 2000 where dialling up to the Internet at home meant having to cut the telephone off for a period of time, to today... I am 36,000 ft in the sky, flying between Dubai and Bangkok, writing my blog, using the free internet access via Wi-Fi on the plane! I hear you ask yourself is it a strong signal and indeed it is!! We have arrived, better to be early than late I guess, but I ask myself 4 hours early is that too extreme?! I guess it could have easily been the other way should circumstances had been different! So as I am sat in the airport, watching the world go by, I spot two interesting things... 1. Watching somebody attempt to go up the escalate the wrong way and chuckling to oneself, as he turns around and spots me laughing and pointing I find myself just as embarrasse...
