After the worst journey EVER in a tiny little bus full of turkish girls that would not stop talking we finally got to Laos and got some tubing done! It was amazing like disneyland for adults, as soon as we got there these crazy people on a rickety bamboo platform gave us free shots (which turned out to be full of wasps!!) and spray paint tattoos then had us go down this big slide into the river to get us going :D. Then we got back into our tubes and floated down the river until we got to the next bar where they just threw ropes out with bottles attached to them to drag us into them. So we climbed up to the bar and there was this big tree swing that was like 30 foot high and you just dropped into the river and tried to catch the ropes they threw out for you so Joe headed straight for that and then convinced me to go down (with my life jacket on >.<) and it was so good!! Absolutely scared the life out of me though haha. So we had a quick drink and headed for the next one Q-Bar which had an even bigger tree swing and even more spray paint tattoos and offered me a job which I was absolutely gutted to turn down :( the lads doing it had been there since May just tubing every day, don't think there is a better job. The lads chickened out of the swing until a girl we were with - Nicola, just got straight up and did it ha! But then Joe got stuck up in the air on it as girls in tubes were floating underneath him and we thought he was going to kill one of them! So I wouldn't get on for anything. But the next bar had a zip line that I found the balls to go on and lost my bikini top when I landed so I stayed under the water until I got everything back in place by which time I'd missed all of the ropes and just managed to grab to last one on the corner and the poor tiny, old man had to drag me in. Joe went next and didn't jump off in time so the handle hit the end and flipped him off into these rocks under the water and cut all of his arms and scared us all but we carried on to the next one that had mud volleyball!! More mud than volleyball but it was so fun just pushing each other around in it all then get hosed off after with a GIANT hose. After getting all cleaned up we just drifted down the river home with a couple we met, Will and Miranda, who were really nice and we went out with later on that night to Q-Bar just to rub my face in it a bit more xD. Had an unbelievable day that we'll never EVER forget!!!!
