Touching The Lucky Part Of The Statue
This statue on the Charles Bridge has two polished areas, one of a dog, one of a falling knight. The dog is unlucky to touch, the knight is lucky. When the statue was first made, everyone touched the knight, polishing it down. Some pranksters the polished down the dog to trick people into touching the bad luck charm. Most people do, as we did the first time we passed. So we went back and touched the knight twice, to cancel out the bad luck.
