We made it! Tomorrow we take on the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle. Prayers welcomed.

399 miles today. One of the prettiest days and by far the most difficult road conditions. Road construction brought gravel, dust and then came rain and mud. Close to 35 miles of gravel. Grateful for safety. Tomorrow on to Fairbanks.

Except for occasional rain a great ride today. Meeting friends along the road while enjoying majestic scenery. Had the best breakfast of the trip about 70 miles west of Watson Lake, in the Rancheria Valley at the Rancheria Lodge and Restaurant. Trust us, the name is much fancier than the establishment...but the food was outstanding and the people friendly. Saw one black bear today along the roadway, probably the closest one to us yet...and he was licking his chop...

300 miles thru light drizzle and 45 degrees. Safe arrival in Fort Nelson. Looking forward to the Cavaliers game!

We ran out of beautiful weather in Dawson Creek. Raining and 46 degrees suggest we pause for a day or until the weather improves.
