Hello everyone we have spent a few days in Kakadu national park it was prity amazing but at the same time very dissapointing. What we saw was great but ther was so much rain that most of the park was closed including all the best bits. Bit of a bummer!
So we left Kakadu and we to Katherin for a night to see Katherin gorge which was very good.
We left Katherin and headed west and we are now just inside western Australia we are going to see if we can get to much of the Kimberlies before Broome then Perth.
Hope that your all well love Ben

Hi Ben! Thought we'd give you a "Hello" so you don't feel left out now that we have Ian's travels to track too! We still look at your site and follow your progress with interest. It is quite cold here at the moment so just think how lucky you are to have the sun! Bet you'll be very tanned when you return. Love and best wishes dear, Jill & Barry xxx
Mum
Hi Ben, Sorry I couldn't talk to you much on Sunday-I was just serving out the lunch-but it was good to hear you as well as all the tree frogs! It sounds very tropical and very hot. I must admit that even I would not relish the idea of traveling up to Cape York in the summer, it was hot enough when we went. Any way I am sure you hardened travellers will cope.
It is exciting to think that Ian is now well on his way. Have you looked on his site? As well as seeing all the folks you will also notice that Jack is not fat! Contrary to gossip, he may be a little more middle aged but he is not fat!! We had a lovely day yesterday and the weather over the weekend has been very warm-we might have snow later in the week. We had our annual 'ski meeting' on Friday which of course was good fun and enabled us to get everything organised. Hope you have a great week- lots of love Mumxxx

Hi B, I hope you are well. The weather over there sounds beautiful! Mum and I are very envious! We are having Gramp Aunty Mary, Barb, Kev and Chris over for lunch today, which should be lovely (roast pork!). We have all been very busy here as usual. Mum has been busy at school with lots of meetings etc. I finished looking after Zak on Thursday and I start my new job in Circencester on Monday! Yesterday I watched the start of the six nation on the T.V. England made a good start by having a win against Scotland. Lovely Johnny Wilkinson back on form! Mum and I are going to be very busy in the next couple of weeks with our Loudres training so we will be up and down to Devizes. I have been thinking about your trip lots and I can't wait to see your photos, I bet they are beautiful! Anyway, take care of yourself and we look forward to speaking to you really soon. Lots of Love Jen and Mum xxxx PS. We missed you lots last Sunday. Now we will have two people to track across the world! Don't forget to look on Ian's website-jimwillroll

Ben, you are so good leaving lots of lovely messages!!! things ok here. Ian's cash has been transferred in to his NZ bank account so hopefully they'll let him in!! Just trying to sort out luggage at the moment.
Looks like he'll be going to Cardiff University in October - they've offered him an unconditional place and he really liked the feel of the chemistry department. We went to Reading for a look the other day but he didn't like it as much.
Chris had a bad chest last week and time off school but he's fine now and playing his flute again!
We look forward to the next instalment of your travelogue soon. Do take care Ben with love from us all.xxxx
