Another 3 day tour and again we had a good group and guide. Kangaroo Island is renowned for it's wildlife and we saw plenty of it.....Kangaroos = check. Cockatoos and wedge-tailed eagles = check. We just had a few days here which is more than enough - there isn't a huge amount to see in the city itself. However, it is much better once you get out into the countryside. Our 3 day tour of the Great Ocean Road and The Grampians was very good - largely thanks to a great group of people and our knowledgable tour guide (who looked as though he was a member of The Wurzels!!We were wowed with great scenery including the 12 Apostles and The Balconies; kept awake by koalas during the night (they sounded a lot like grunting pigs!); and saw two kangaroos boxing!!

On our return from Taz, we opted to stay in St Kilda (the beach suburb of Melbourne).
