Went to Brugge today. Lovely city about an hours train ride from here. The city was wonderful. It has a canal system and beautiful gardens and some wonderful cathedrals. We woke up from a nap and went out to eat. Found a fun area with lots going on but most restaurants were Thai or Indian. We were afraid the kids wouldn't like it so we tried an Irish pub. Service and menu were horrible so we left and ended up at a Thai place. Lively atmosphere. Lots of loud music and people wondering around. A bachelorette was walking around with her entourage. Eating dinner at a random cafe. Things close a bit early in our area of Brussels. We had to walk past an area that was very crowded earlier but is shut up tight now to find a cafe area.

We arrived safely! A bit wiped out but. We were lucky, in that our room was ready right when we got there! We all took a long nap and now we are eating a very late lunch. Trey and deacon are trying their first Croquet Monsieur.
