Today is the day of our trip around the sites if Battambang, so we got up and grabbed a baguette and waited for our diver to turn up. Whilst waiting we decided instead of staying another night we would get the night bus to sihanoukville - this meant we changed rooms to the cheaper ones and all piled our bags inside. Once sorted we jumped in the tuk tuk and headed to out first destination - the bamboo train. I wasn't too bothered by this but so glad we did it in...

Today we woke up early for our bus to Battambang, we did some last minute packing and headed downstairs to wait. We were picked up from our guesthouse at 6:30am by mini bus and taken to the company's office where we got onto a larger local bus. The journey went well and only took 2 hours over the time the estimated! Today is an easy one to write about - we woke up and went for some breakfast at the butterfly place and it was just as good as last night! After this we went back to the guesthouse and chilled by the pool - the rest of the day was spent swimming, sweating and sleeping! This evening we went back to the butterfly place as we were both tiered and it's close and good! After food we went back to our room to pack as we have another early bus tomorrow to battanbang.

Today was another day I've been planning for a long time - Angkor Wat! As we got our ticket yesterday we headed straight into the complex and for Angkor Wat. Our drivers dropped us off and we walked along the 1km walkway that takes you to the heart of the temple, we stepped to the side by one of the ponds (which was surrounded by people, but still got a nice spot) and waited for the sun to rise - the temples make an incredible silhouette as the sun rises over ...

Today we decided to just chill out by the pool and generally not do a lot. We took a walk to try and get our bearings and got lost! Luckily we found a costs coffee and sat and had some iced latte and a panini! We retraced our selves and slept by the pool until 3:30.
