Hello Everyone,
We are now back in Jo'Burg- ready to fly to Bangkok tomorrow! I can't believe we have been away for a month already!
In the last week we travelled from rainy Durban to Swaziland which was AMAZING! We stayed at Sondzela Backpackers which was in Milwane Wildlife Sanctuary. It was in the middle of nowhere but the hostel had ree pool and ping pong so we managed to keep ourselves amused. We also met a group of fellow travellers who were a good bunch. We went on a hike up a mountain called' Execution Rock'. It was baking hot and took 6 hours but was well worth it when we got to the top. We also saw a crocodile on our hike, and also a couple of hippos- but they were pretty buried under the water. We stayed in a 'Rondavel' which is a round hut type of thing-we had warthogs, osteriches (I dont know how to spell that) and impala at our door. It was really good to be in the middle of all the wildlife, plus the hostel served fantastic dinners around the campfire every night.
We spent all of yesterday on the Baz Bus and arrived in Jo'Burg- we are staying at the Backpackers Ritz which is in a 'nice' location so we can walk around etc! We went to a really posh mall today and felt horribly underdressed in our travelling gear. we left quite quickly and spent the day roasting by the pool.
Bens head is healing nicely. We found an irish nurse on the baz bus who kindly removed his stitches. England are in the rugby final- wahoo!
