Yesterday we returned to Wet N Wild. We spent most of the time having way too much fun in the wave pool & repeated Sidewinder about 8 times over. We raced back to catch a Korean Magician in town - we'd missed his slot but he ended up doing tricks for me anyway. Ben wasn't impressed until we gave him a deck of cards…he turned out to be mental. He was great, he was from a Korean school of magic - he did the best trick with a ping pong where he hid the ball...

Wet N Wild was so much fun! We ran from ride to ride all day (and are coming back in a few days!) It was seriously hot all day, like baking. We went on every single ride - they were all awesome. There's one which is like a big half-pipe where you fall down one end (there are 2 people in a rubber ring thing) so I ended up falling backwards down it… it was wicked. We've gone up to the Gold Coast - based at Surfer's Paradise in Queensland. Our hotel (the Vibe) is lush - the breakfasts are quality (though 3 days in I'm struggling with a full buffet English each morning) The pool here is nice and the Jacuzzi is really violently bubbly.
