June 26th continued

After we had finished on the internt we went back to the hotel to have showers etc and chill out before heading to the night market and getting some food. we caught up with penny as well who was in our last group. then after shopping til we litterally dropping we headed back to the hotel to go to bed.

june 27th

got up after the best sleep ever (apparently i walked out the room in my sleep!) and a lie in before getting up and going for a wander and a bite to eat before starting on a tour of a silk factory, a laquer factory, a silver factory and a bunch of other things. then same again, had tea on the market before heading back to bed after haggling somemore.

June 28th

got up and headed out on a thai cooking course. we went to a market to buy the supplies to cook with then wse headed to the cooking school. here we had to put o some very interesting hats and pinnies. then we started cooking - padthai, masaman curry, tom yam soup and sticky rice. we were given cooking books so we can try and recreate the meals at home. then we got home around 2 and then went to kill some time before catching the overnight train back to bangkok. this one was a bit more spacious than the last one but was still a bit stuffy.

june 29th.

got woken up around half 5 and eventually got off the train around half 7. got a taxi back to the hotel and dumped our stuff before heading down to breakfast with the remainder of our group. i had a suprise visitor.... CHANTAL and DAN came to see us which was awesome. lots of tears! went to breakfast then headed to the JJ market to have a bit of a shop around. then me and laura headed home and left chantal and dan to shop. we got a shower and changed and headed over to rickies for lunch with our old group leader called becky. then after lunch and a catch up we headed over to the new hotel. after about half an hour we managed to check into our room (the staff were unbelieveably gormless!) and went and chilled out by the pool. we then caught a taxi into town and went for a look down koh sahn road before heading to a restaurant to have a fairwell meal with jo, tam and Mi
