We've booked our room now for the wedding, and Simon is sorted with the stag do in Newquay - if you can surf I'm sure he'll be able to too. What a pair of surfing dudes - you could do syncronized surfing.

Hey girlies!!

so we are chillin out in a wee place called evans head just south of Byron for a few days in a hostel run by our surf instructor.. tis a cool place very relaxed and me and SD are catching some waves most days too.. we are now of course surf pros but obviously not as good as you hannah!! (you are def a surf pro if you got up first time and every time!!) in our defence our first surf lesson was in a raging thunderstorm and the waves were massive and there was a huge rip that we had to go out on and we kinda all got up!!! Was ace!! Dor is in Melbo as its really sad, her aunt died so she has headed there for the funeral.. we miss her.. team ireland isnt complete!!

heading to Brissy on friday we think.. will try to get to Nimbin along the way!!

Hi Chick, glad you are having such a good time and finally got to do some surfing, I can't believe you got up first time, it took me about 40 goes and then I was only up for a nanosecond, guess I'll just have to stick with bodyboarding. Seamonkeys are still doing well, they are massive now, but I think they are missing their mummy, you had better not kill them when you take over. Went up to the top of Castle Hill yesterday, it is brilliant, it was very windy and nearly blew me off the top, but the views are magnificient, anyone local who has not been up to the top of the tower get yourselves up there, it really is worth it. Right that's my plug for the local attractions over. Went to Lorna's barn party yesterday it was lovely to see everyone, they all seem very happy and were asking about you. Not much going on except I am having to work full time now coz your Dad is on strike, it had better be over quick coz I don't think I will like it. PS. so don't bother asking me to send you any more money over coz there isn't any, it will be beans on toast for all meals in the foreseable future. Any way take care, watch out for them there sharks when surfing I understand they quite like to eat liccle English girls. Love Mum xxxxx

hey guys! so i am on a gay computer that wont let me see if we have any messages! i am hoping there is loads or i will get mad. i havn't written in a while cause its been nothing but fun, fun, fun, and sitting on a computer would have just got in the way of our crazy activities. so the good news is, i am a natural surf pro! me and bex had our 1st surf lesson last week. we thought it would be disasterous because our lesson was at 9.45am and we didn't get in til 4.30am. anyway we managed to get up and hit the beach. our instructor told us we wouldn't get up first time and it would prob take us about 20 mins to finally get up.so off me anb bex went into the sea. and who stands up 1st time. me, yes me! not only 1st time but everytime. the instructor couldn't believe it! so i am going to now become a pro surfer. i knew i was born to do it! when in byron we also went to a place called nimbin, the marajuana capital of us. when i mean the capital i mean its practically legal to sell, buy or smoke the stuff. so off we went on a tour which everyone goes on to get stoned! tehe! it was crazy! after byron it was to surfers paradise. the irish boys went out but me and bex stayed in. when we woke up and went to the loo, i discovered the toilet covered in red sick! lovely! looked like a massacre had happened and made the naughty one clean it up immediately. for the past 3 nights we were in brisbane, which is a really cool city. not quite melbourne but way better than sydney! and it was hot, hot, hot! we went to australia zoo, of steve irwin fame! and boy did we have an ace time! all 4 of us were like little kids. we had our pic taken of us holding a snake, well when i say all 4 of us i mean me and john held it cos the other two were scared. i had its head and i was swinging it round and trying to kiss it! tehe! mum i will send home the pic so you can have it on proud display! was brill! on our last night in brisbane we went out with rach from our house in melbourne! it was a very good night and a big fried breakfast was well deserved the next day. we are in noosa now, and its beautiful here! the beaches are amazing, and brilliant for surfing, and the weather wel its beautful. would never think this was winter. tomorrow we are going to rainbow beach then we will soon be at frazer island. the largest sand island in the world. well thats it kids cause its been quite an essay! not long to world cup now! cant wait! peace out sprouts. keep the msgs comi8ng. and hope everyuone at uni has done good. miss everyone lots xxxxxxxxxx

Hey everyone. As hannah said we have been having quite the crazy time lately, coffs harbour was a nice place we were a little wild on the 'punch night' and got told off for going in the pool at 2am!!My clothes still stink of chlorene. Two irish guys Marc and john who we met in coffs offered us a lift in their groovy van 'mojo', there hilarious, and also alcoholics they keep forcing us on the box's of wine. When we got to Byron bay it was like i was in heaven, its the coolest place ever were staying at a place called the Arts factory (thanks to Raquel for recommending it), its like something out of the 70's, we will take loadsa pics for you all to see, its our 3rd night tonight but i think we will stay longer coz its totally awesome dude peace and harmony.. haha.Loads of people we met in both newzealand and oz are here wich is crazy. On the first night we went out, i left early and got a little lost back at the hostel somewere in the camping ground wandered around for a wile and met some hippies! Lastnight we were set on not going out but ireland were playing rugby so the boys dragged us out, we got into bed at 4am and struggled alot to get up this morning for our surf lesson. It was just me and han so we got all the surf dudes attention, unfortunately it didnt make much difference on my level of skill, it took me two hours to stand up, its really hard but really fun!! hannah stood up the first time shes like a pro now!! Im gona rent a board this week and make myself a pro. Ok gota go make some tea, peace and love to all you hippies.
Oh yea almost forgot were staying in a tipee its so FUN!!!!
By the way any of you travelling buddies who have not yet got to Byron, you'll definitely wana spend some time here and make sure u stay at the arts factory its the best hostel ive stayed in!
