hey everyone well we have been extremely busy and action packed that is why we have been so rubbish on the message front! firstly i am gutted i am gonna miss the o.c. donna i want regular updates please. well we went to the poo pub and had a blast! we had to get dressed up. the theme was the letter P. i went as pocahontus, bex went as a present, our friends who we've been travelling with went dressed as a pixie and stacy as a pregnant prom queen. she is so american. hiopefully we will have pics up tommoro! wohoo! but we had to make our costumes out of bin liners which was pretty cool. needless to say we got very drunk n the bus journey next day was full of sick hungover ppl! haha! the other day we walked up the franz josef glacier. it was absolutely amazing! im so proud that i did, n guess what i walked for 6 hours mum! yes me! n i didnt moan once! it was so pretty, its like someone has dumped a large block of ice in between mountains. it is definately worth doing if you come to NZ. now we are in queenstown. me n bex are stating at phil, beckys friends house. it has the most amazing views over the lake n there is a permenant rainbow. we are going river boarding on wednesday, so that should be fun. we are also going to milford sounds, supposedly the 8th wonder of the world. bex has gone bungy jumping today, but i will let het tell you all about that.that girl is mad! we are going out tonight for the 12th night in a row. excellent. money is gonna go now. so good luck to those wi exams!! xxxxxxxxxxxxx

were going hiking on a glacire tomorow and its gona be pretty chilly which is exelent as all i have to wear is a jumper shorts and flip flops!!we stayed at a pub called the poo pub (we were the only ones there),lastnite it was ace!, a bit grotty but we had a big fancy dress party with everyone of our bus. It was also Trish ( our stalkers) birthday today so we partied long into the night! I dressed up as a present and han was Pocahontas, we looked fab. have lots of dodgy photos and stories to tell but wont write them right now. hope everyones got over their new years hangovers mines still in full swing.All day in th espirit of trish's birthday weve been wearing big gold preist /princess hats which i made we look totally awesome dude!! keep getting really funny looks though i dont know y.The weathers gone bad again now ive never seen so much rain!hopefully it will be cler for our hike tomorow. I heard youve had snow at home.

Hi Bex, sounds like you are still having an ace time. Couldn't get any gossip from the family and nothing happening with YFC to talk about. I had a brilliant time with Craig in Budapest. It is such a lovely place and
definitely a must do for a New Year celebration. As usual though it didn't run too smoothly and I was prone to a few mishaps... Firstly after driving from Devon to Reading via Bristol airport to pick Craig up and Oxford to look
at a house to rent I realised I didn't have my passport so at 3am on the morning of our flight I had to drive back to Somerset to get it! Luckily it was at my house not in Devon at my parents. Arrived, very tired into Budapest and realised that we were ankle deep in snow which was amazing. Unfortunately for me I had brought shoes without grips so I was walking along like an old granny! First stop was therefore to buy some new shoes, upon purchasing some fantastic winter boots I managed to slip over on the pavement and bruise myself! To cap it off on the way back home yesterday I stopped off at the duty free to buy some moisturiser, as the cold weather had really dried up my skin, and on the way home was trying it out and it stank of old spice, Craig then informed me that the word Homme on the front of the packet meant man in French (I learnt German at school) and that I had bought mans moisturiser!!! Typical. Only other news is that I have found a place to live in Oxford and have just 2 weeks left in Somerset! Speak soon, Gem xxx

New years eve was great drank much too much and had a whole lot of fun,it was very strange not to be working. like han wrote before everyone we saw asked the next day asked how we were feeling so i guess it was a brilliant night. We went into Nelson town late on but didnt stay long, and didnt make it into any of the pubs, oh well at least we saved some money. Then walked back to hostel, on the way i decided to go to the park becasue there was a band playing,they were excellent, i didnt pay either hehe. I stayed up all night and had breakfast at 7am before i finally went to bed at 8.30am!!! Very good night!! Yesterday was equally as good spent the day lazing drinking again and used the hot tub and sauna. We also made a huge bbq with our freinds stacey, trisha and pat. all really nice dudes however they do seem to stalk us alot haha following us round the country.... so today weve left nelson and moved onto westport, we had to be up at 6am!! 6hrs sleep in two days. very sleepy. Westports a bit of a boring place, very Country, but its kool cz were all pretty nakered anyway, early night tonight aftera hard few days. Tomorow we move on again to a place called manapua were ll there is is a pub called the pooh pub. going to have a ig fancy dress party becasue its trish's birthday on the 4th. By the way hope everyone getting ready to send my prezzies over...20th january! dont forget.

Glad to see things don't change even if you are in Kiwiland, hope you weren't sick in the hot tub, though. Spent New Year with Uncle David, Auntie Helen and Alex over at Elaine and Alan's. Oh Nats and Paul have just arrived they have been trying to blag a wash and shower (they slept at Helen's at New Year and guess what she was sick all over the bedroom and bathroom, so no-one could go to the toilet, up curtains and everything even I'm not that bad. Such a lot of sick for such a tiny girl. Any way enough of that keep on having a good time. Lots of Love
