Thank you for the phone calls and birthday message photo. I have had a great weekend. Starting at the Office on Friday - with the table all set out lovely with birthday cake, pink champagne, and lovely presents from them all - of a digital radio and john paul galtier perfume and body lotion. At Theresas house that night with all the family, a lovely night. Then Aarons Christening on Sat morn with the two families, and the Eglinton Arms at night for a meal with everyone. What a great day. Anyway it is great to keep up with you both on the blog, and see how well and happy you both are. What a big difference that makes to us here at home. Speak soon. Love you.

Brian and Marianne,
It makes our day when we receive your blog and photos and to see the picturesque scenery and beautiful sunsets that you have experienced. Enjoy the sunshine while you can because it will be back to woolly jumpers and waterproof jackets in a few weeks time. Can't wait to hear about all the different people and their cultures that you have met along your wonderful journey. Everyone here is well and all the family are looking forward to seeing you both. Love you very much. Mum & Dad XX

Hi Brian and Marianne,
It is a treat when your latest travel blog pops up in our email inbox. You both look amazingly healthy, relaxed, trim and tanned. Hope you can keep that look going back home!
We just got back from a week in Saint Martin which was glorious (but not long enough). We spent a lot of time on the beach and Alex reminded us of how much he enjoyed building sandcastles with his "Uncle Brian" last year at Myrtle Beach. He also wanted to know if your name was "Uncle Brian" when you were a little boy!
Monica and her family are in Charlotte this week so it will be fantastic to catch up with old friends. She has your travel blog too.
We just booked our flights to Scotland for October so we look forward to catching up with you both then.
Enjoy every minute of the last few weeks of your journey!
Love,
Joanna, Jack, and Alex

Hello Marianne and Brian
So glad for your blog which keeps us in touch with all your journey. Looks like you are experiencing the bit more enduring part of your travels now - or maybe not 'singapore slings at raffles' mm..... Your journey looks fantastic ! so many worldly experiences.
Anyway all is well here. Jo is home for a month, grannie is home now, Clare and Niko are here for the weekend. It's Jimmie's 60th on Tuesday, so we were out for a meal in an Italian on Sat night. I am going out this Friday night to Da Luciano's with 'the office', and Aaron's Christening is on 23rd in St Bridget's then the Eglinton Arms then a 'wee night' there. Then Moira's wedding 2 weeks later. Marianne - Moira's mum brought an envelope over here for you and Brian.
Anyway enjoy the rest of the journey - and take care. Love you. Mum. xxxxxx

HI Brian and Marrianne
You look as though you are having a fantastic time. You are making us all jealous by the way you are both looking so fit, healthy and gorgeous!
Shame about your foot Brian but I'm sure you will recover quickly and enjoy the rest of your adventures.
We are all fine here in sunny Wokingham! Gary is back at work and college, Garry is busy doing whatever he does in his grotto, Nichola is still in the Magic Kingdom and I'm still slaving away with the needy!
Looking forward to seeing you both in the flesh in a few weeks time.
All our love
