More knitting! After a hard slog round the shops we trudged to the harbour via the flea market. Both disappointed. Then we found Volcano House. Fab retro furniture, a mean cappuccino with sugar that actually bubbled - as did the chicken soup with paprika and cream swirls of lava. Suitably refreshed - out came the knitting.

Walking to the fish market - the girls all wanted to buy the sauce made by the fish lady's aunt Angela. And of course we had to have our daily fruit from the stall next door. Time for a last swim, a last snorkel, a last trip on the speedy yellow reggae bus to Holetown to collect Jo's special order of banana bread from Flindts, and a last order from the suncream monitor (Ros) to "spread it all over your back" as we soaked up our last rays.
Busy day - Earthworks pottery and Hendy's batik studio. Girls loved each place and purchased tasteful items at both. Light shopping in Holetown after lemon and ginger drink at the chattel houses' cafe. Afternoon spent jet skiing - complete result as we persuaded Lesley, Anna Maria and Diane to conquer their fears and jump on. Getting a proper view from the sea of the house that Simon Cowell rents helped! About to all start getting ready to go out for our specia...
So - The Cliff - for the birthday (s) dinner. I should let the other write this - safe to say they absolutely loved it. The setting is pretty spectacular - on platforms overlooking the sea with flaming torches, candles on the walls and sails ready to deploy as a canvas rooves if it rained - we almost hoped it would! The Parting of the Ways: Wednesday Diane, Heather, Lesley, Alex and Anna-Maria opted for a visit to the plantation house of St Nicholas Abbey - a very mellow, beautiful old house, abundant with tropical flora and fauna, (Lesley was impressive with her knowledge of dendrobium which is still a working sugar plantation with a rum distillery.
