Hello! Hope you're both enjoying your trip. Just to let you know baby Hawkins has arrived!!
Charlotte Olivia Hawkins finally arrived last Friday morning (19 August) after an epic labour (57 hours!) ... she weighed in at 6lbs 9.5ozs, with a somewhat battered head and face - however, she now seems to be thriving and the new Mummy & Daddy are chuffed to bits (albeit somewhat tired)!

Hi,Stuart & Karen sorry we missed you at mums and thanks for the garden vouchers. Looks and sounds like your having a great time ,the landscape looks great. I'am very jealous being a keen photographer but look foward to your daily blog and stuarts dry witt.
Huw & Ann
Incredible pictures of the glaciers and wonderful views. It is a good job that you did all of that training in the gym before leaving Karen. It is a shame that Stuart did not complete the fitness training course and that you have to leave him on his own at the lower levels. How are the bumps and bruises from your tumble karen?. Keep the daily blogs coming as they are most interesting and amusing to follow your exploits and adventures. Take Care. XXX

Well done Stuart for conquering the driving on the other side of the road, although to remind you you did do that many years ago when I was teaching you!
With all of this drving and mountain walking what we all want to know is if Karen used her visceral manipulation on you yet Stuart?
Only clean answers on your blog please?
Clare and I have enjoyed reading your updates(with the sarcasm, wit and puns of course) and viewing the pikkies so keep them coming.
Safe onward journey and be careful as you know in Canada their may be 'a moose loose about the hoose'! :)-

Hey Stuart, get out of my fridge. You won't find any squash in there. Canadians don't do it so suck it up!

Great to hear you've landed safely and that the sat nav is working. Just remember if it sends you towards a cliff you don't have to obey!!
Hilary
Just loving your stories keep them coming. I pop on everyday to see where you are and what you are up to. As for the other Karen Barker this is what she does
Visceral Manipulation involves the release of tension in the ligaments of the organs in the body. It is a gentle, but relatively deep tissue therapy with the entire emphasis on making sure that the organs move and glide freely. Frequently the cause of the lack of motion in the organs is due to severe trauma to the body (i.e. car accidents, falls, etc.).
Believe it or not, this therapy has actually been around for a number of centuries, originally developed in China and Tibet . But recently this therapy has undergone a considerable amount of research and review by a French osteopath, Dr. Jean-Pierre Barral . He currently trains practitioners in Visceral Manipulation and was featured in Time magazine as one of the next wave of alternative medicines’ new innovators.
