Arrived in Jodhpur at 4am with no idea where we were going or where we were going to stay. We asked to be dropped off at the clock tower with the intention of finding our own room, but as absolutely nothing was open, we wre a bit stuck. Luckily a lady arrived to try and convince us to stay at her guest house called Heaven. Usually we would be dubious, but had little choice so went to have a look. It turned out to be one of the nicest places we've stayed, with really homely rooms, home cooking, and run by far the nicest family we've met.
Decided to have a flyby visit and spent our one and only day here visiting the bustling market and outstanding fort. James' attempts at buying something for 1 rupee finally paid off when a market stall owner donated him a paper bag.
