Hello everyone! I have successfully made it into Alice Springs and the outback!!
It is very warm out here, around 38oc at the moment, and the flies around here are alike a host of Father Nurgle!!! But being clever has it's advantages... I have bought a fly net adn insect repellent! Lets see how the little critters like them apples
All hasn't been simple though! When I arrived in Sydney on the 10th I found that no hostels had any room, not even a stable with a crib for a bed!! So in the end, my good friend Sam whom I met in NZ, but lives in Sydney, was kind enough to let me stay on his floor in Rockdale, just out of Sydney, a big thanks goes to him!
On the 11th, yesterday, Sam and I walked around Sydney and had lunch before chilling out at Darling Harbour. In the evening I got an early night as I had to be up at 6am to get to the airport!
And so I arrived in Alice around 1pm local time adn I walked around the town and bought a few things, and I sent my next big package home! I had a nice thai crepe for lunch and then got a didgeridoo lesson, very cool! And so tonight I will again go to bed early as my tour to Darwin starts at 5:15am tomorrow! Nice!
So until I have more news for you I shall say goodbye... GOODBYE
