Hi Ian
I reckon you must have reached Yellowstone by today? Hope progress is good. Look out for those grizzlies - not quite Yogi with a picnic basket eh? We have had a second weekend of good weather - must be the summer then :-) Hopefully you are not going anywhere near Oklahoma - they seem be having a few twisters down there. Good to see you are meeting fellow cyclists to and encountering non threatening wildlife. Keep those legs spinning.

Hi Ian
Just read the whole blog - very entertaining. You are doing really well. Really felt for you when you got to the campsite and it was shut so you had to press on again for many miles. But good news - you'll soon be at Yellowstone and hopefully flatter country (and more downhill to). Other good news -I've just discovered 'An Idiot Abroad' on Pick TV - Karl is in Israel and Jordan. Sure we have seen this one. Anyway - hope you are enjoying the travelling more than Karl is ("it's doing his 'ead in" already).
Keep going and looking forward to the next installment.
Mark
Just been looking at the map, not far till you get to Yellowstone, watch out for that Super Volcano!

Hi Ian,
Well done you for taking on such a challenge! Len passed on your link. We are enjoying reading your blogs and will keep up to date with your tales from across the pond. Look after yourself - eat well, keep hydrated, don't over do it, and enjoy!! Ooh sorry slipped into 'Mother mode' for a sec. there.
Keep smiling..!

Ha! cunningly found your blog via google, enjoying the blog and maps. Sounds like you need to eat better, banana and crisps not ideal fuel for Trans-America. Look forward to next instalment Px

OOH, everything looks lovely.

Hi Ian glad you're enjoying the journey although your motel descriptions aren't selling Idaho to me. You seem to be getting a lot of lifts. Are you sure you're not cycling less than you ought to be? The Bates motel seems to based on reality, mother mother!
