Mate de Coca -coca tea prepared from dried coca leaves. It is often drunk to ease the effects of high altitude. This tea definitely wakes up in the morning. Other available teas in Peru are: pure/black, camomille, mint and aniseed. No fruity teas. Good coffee. Drunk in Cusco.
