The fish are kept alive by little tubes connected to car batteries pumping air into the water in the bowls. They are quite large fish which flap about madly and occasionally jump out so the stallholders scurry around to catch them and put them back. Sometimes quite tiny shrimp and crabs which are cooked and eaten whole. I only go for the large prawns. The lady in front has tofu - they sell delicious tofu, still warm. I could live on it!
