Me and the travel blog don't seem to have had a great start! I signed in after having my forgotten password emailed to me and realised I don't actually have the technological ability to change my introductory message as I promised to do! I've also had to enter my current location as Bangladesh because its scroll down list only gave me Asian counties to choose from! Unsurprisingly it was unable to pinpoint the location of my imaginary house in bangladesh so i had to do it manually by clicking on the map. I picked a nice place in the top left hand corner to pretend to live in :). (the photo I chose from their selection is just like the view from my bedroom window...)

This kind of technological madness, although fun, is not what you want to be doing at 1am when an early flight combined with a love of long showers means waking up at 5.30 tomorrow! I should probably be sleeping now and this is my excuse for a very brief first post!

My backpack now only needs a few more things to be thrown in tomorrow morning before it'll (hopefully) be ready for anything (just like my magical first aid kit! I don't think an ailment exists that it couldn't cure!) I'm pretty sure something vitally important will have been forgotten and that'll be the reason why i was able to fit travel uno in! I've left out food in an attempt to make myself eat strange foreign things like raw fish and fried spiders. I was preparing for these culinary challenges at the family dinner we had tonight by eating things I've never tried before like cabbage, another strange looking vegtable and a red coloured mystery sauce. It's not quite raw fish and spiders but I'm getting there!

Although I could share so many more exciting things with you, I think now it's bedtime, next time I write on this thing I'll be in Japan! I'm excited and exhausted!
