Hi All Sorry we havent posted for a couple of days. Had a bit of a Drama. We were driving down from Chumphon on Monday, about 400 klms to Phuket. Cal started vomiting about Ranong, on Burma border. He was throwing up about every 10min, so it took a long time to get to Phuket. We went straight to the hospital, as he was becoming severly dehydrated. Hi all, Today's main aim was to get the hire car that we will keep until Phuket and have a look around Hua Hin. This was partly achieved - at least getting the car was no problem, nor is driving around. Really just like driving at home and forgetting half the road rules (Geoff would be a natural!) Hi Everyone Well here we are at Hua Hin. The hotel is very very nice. Like a very big Spa. We left Bangkok by Taxi this morning at about 10am. It is the best way to travel. Only cost about 2500 baht, which is about $90. Our taxi driver was called Prahn. He was lots of fun, and only spoke a little english. Well yesterday we made it across the border into Thailand. This was a bit of a struggle as Georgie, Janie and I were all sick - poor Georgie being the worst with stomache problems and really run down. Janie was recovering from the same problems. For me the main issue is bronchitis, brought on by a cold and allergic reaction to pollution in Saigon and Phnom Penh.
