Thursday, 1.30pm: we're both feeling very hungover after a big night out in LA. A group of us from the hostel went boozing on Sunset Blvd, starting in a bar called the Red Rock. We then went to Saddle Ranch where we saw Ant and Dec at the bar; luckily Adam had brought his MegaZon camera so we got a great photo of us and them which we'll upload as soon as we remember to bring the USB cable with us! We've now booked our hire car to drive to Vegas tomorrow and we're staying in the 'Sin City Hostel' for 2 nights and the MGM Grand for 1 night (should be amazing!). We've been given loads of great advice about Vegas from an Ozzy called Bret; he told us to put 10 cence bets in the casino and get free drinks all night! We also get a $25 dining credit in the MGM so the buffet table had better watch out! We're going to drive to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Damn from Vegas, then head north west to San Fransisco, before coming down the coast back to LA for our flight to Fiji. When you off to Thailand Jonny? We've been hearing some very 'interesting' stories about the place, ha ha!

Sounds like you guys are loving it. Didn't actually know that Adam had a website, whats the address. Good to hear that the hostel is catering to Adams taste (free food).

We've just found an internet cafe on Sunset Blvd where Adam is busy uploading his photos to his website (i would be doing the same if the prehistoric computer recognised my camera when i plugged it in!) I'll have to find another cafe soon! We've had an excellent start to the holiday; the hostel is really good and the 4 other people in our room are nice, we all got very drunk last night at a BBQ put on by the hostel with free food. The weather is warm at the mo so we're sitting outside in t-shirts at night. Hollywood is definitely a rich environment, we saw 4 Ferraris in 5 minutes and every other car is a Hummer or Dodge Viper. We walked all round Beverly Hills yesterday and then down Rodeo Drive looking at the mansions and wondering why we were the only people who actually went anywhere on foot! We're going on a tour of Hollywood put on by the hostel tomorrow then get drunk in the evening, and we've decided to drive to Las Vegas on Friday before going on to San Fransisco.
