The flight to KL was only 1 ½ hours but it was 1am before we arrived so we were shattered. We jumped in a taxi to go to our hotel (another hour away) and we couldn't have picked a grumpier taxi driver, he didn't speak or reply to us the whole journey (perhaps it was because he didn't speak English we thought) and it didn't help that he had no idea where the hotel was. The boat to Phuket was very calm, a good job too as it was raining very heavily and we had to sit inside! We finally made the trip off Koh Tao, and made it to Chumporn without any sickness, although we had to spend most of the morning arguing with the ferry staff, so that we didn't have to pay twice for our ticket! We had a short overnight stay in Chumporn until our transfer to Krabi early the next morning. After our 4 hour minibus journey we were glad to arrive in Krabi to relax.
