hey!! so we finally arrived in Xi'an this morning after a 14hour train jounrey from Beijing!! was ok in the top bunks no room, but nice to have your own space!! the citys really nice its within 4 walls spread out acroos 14km! we have been to the local markets bartering for a few bits and bobs!! then we headed for the drum and bell tower which were really good and tehn we went to the great mosque of Xi'an which was pree\tty peacfuk and queist compared to Beiji...

hello again everyone. coming to the end of day two and i think we are still both getting over the jetlag we are both nakered, although we have walked more in these two days than the whole of last year. we went to the temple of heaven 2day which is a serious ofvery impressive buildings and a big temple built in the 1400's, pretty cool. also surrounded by acres of trees, was quite relaxing actually. were finding things quite different here, still getting stared...
