We arrive in Singapore ,in the middle of the night, what a lovely , airport so easy and organised taxi waiting patiently in a bay no mad panic like Sydney ! Soon we are showered and in to bed , up early in the morning and have a nice omelet for breakfast, we start out for Mustaffas a must see according to a valuable source , and wow what a store, not flash like DJs but everything and anything you want , we spend a good hour going from top to bottom and find all sorts of goodies, then off to Arab street wander around for a bit again another bargain area , we buy some prezzies , and gosh wish I could sew wow the fabrics so beautiful. Next stop Boat Quay, bit touristy and perhaps looks better at night!! Our next stop we walked up to Raffles plaza and had some lunch with the locals in the bottom of the mall Vietnamese called Nam Yum and yes it was , then finally a drink at the bar of Raffles itself ! With billecart champagne ooh too good a race back to the hotel check out quick freshen up and out for dinner and a look around Marina Bay Sands 57 stories up , elliptical giant pool! trees, bars , nightclubs, 10star restaurant (just kidding) wow factor ,high! drink cost high! But on top of Singapore we could see all the way to Indonesia and Malaysia..... Time to grab a taxi and on to part 2 of our journey .
