I am officially on the road, traveling the UK to start with. I landed in London one week ago and it's been a great start. There is so much to see and do, and if you've got your walking shoes on, navigating around the city becomes a lot clearer. Some of the highlights have been:
Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, British Museum, Emirates Stadium and Hyde Park

Piccadilly Circus is a major meeting spot with lots of shopping nearby on Regent St and bars in Soho and Leicester Square.

Navigating the tube is pretty user friendly and the big 'Underground' signs are a saving grace if you find yourself in unfamiliar territory.

From here I head to Manchester and Birmingham surfing couches of some kind hosts.
