After walking around a temple for about 30min and realising it was in fact a local cemetary, I proceeded to the REAL 10,000 Buddha temple down the road (thanks to my lonely planet). You would be mistaken to believe the statues on the way up the hill are the attraction. Although they are not, it's truly amazing to see the work that's gone into making these hundreds of statues all the way up the hillside.
