Well...what can I say about this place without putting a shady tone to it? Perhaps the best thing to do is quote Lonely Planet in saying, "...a ramshackle warren of hostels..." and "...you may be put off by the undercurrent of sleaze and the peculiar odour of cooking fat, incense and sewage. The building's infamy is fuelled by tales both tall and true of conflagrations, crimes and unclaimed bodies!". Of course my American mate Sean and I didn't know this before we got there. There was another aussie there though, which proves the point that in the endless pursuit of cheap accommodation, a tightarse can sleep just about anywhere. Sean and I were pretty quick to get out of there though and laugh about it afterwards.
