Heading into New York, 3 o clock in the afternoon. Traffic is amazing as we drive in through Queens on way to airport. Even worse than Brisbane when really congested, but not quite as chaotic as Cairo! They tell us getting to JFK , la Guardia and Newark airports is a nightmare any time. With added security and traffic the advice is to get there 3 hours before!!!!

Back in New York. Dinner at a Mexican Restaurant and stroll down to Times Square, where we just sat and watch the myriad of screens and people.

Wandered into St Patrick's 5th Av, they happened to be celebrating mass. So I stayed. A very impressive cathedral (I was reprimanded for taking the photo), and the pipe organ and sound just magnificent. We visited many churches during the trip and many were a highlight.

5 th Avenue Shops, Rockafellar Centre. Guess who had a facial at Saks 5th Avenue, noice! Lunch on 5th in the Trump Towers, and a gentle stroll back after a day of shopping. Tour meeting at hotel in evening, with a lot ( perhaps most) being Australians. Hope they behave!

Here we are in New York and there are so many amazing buildings even I eventually got an ok photo from the tourist bus. Apart from the obvious I don't know anything about it! The traffic is nuts, you could get run over, easy!
