Nice was nice- ha ha. I finally got to see the French Riviera and I was not disappointed. I had Salad Nicoisse and a really yummy French breakfast. The only thing is the beach in Nice is rocky and it really hurt to walk on those pebbles. The cruise to Sain Tropez was cool- didn't see any famous people though. Also, the hostel was sort of crappy, but for 22 euros I can't complain.

Took the obligatory holding the tower up picture. I felt so cheesy doing it! I am now in Cinque Terre, a beautiful hillside village area in the Italian Riviera. I took a grueling hike in the hot sun yesterday. There is a path that connects all five villages right along the coast. The views were magnificent, and the mediterranean vegetation was so beautiful. Under the Freakin Hot Tuscan Sun- Florence is a nice change of pace from Rome, a little slower, easier to get around- only problem is it is still so hot! The men here are flirtier here than in Rome. Nice ego boost for us girls. Michaelangelo's David was awesome, much bigger than I expected. The statue didn't follow the saying Big hands big d... though, his hands were much larger than his manhood! Ha Ha, anyway, tomorrow off to La Spezia.

Rome has been interesting. There is so much to see and I managed to do it in two days. Went to Vatican City first thing yesterday- took a guide so I could cut through the line. That line was crazy! Seeing the Sistine Chapel was amazing, but the highlight for me was the collosseum. After watching the Gladiator, I could really imagine the way it looked in those days. It was impressive. Venice is amazing- so weird to be in a city that doesn't have cars! Toured around today by foot and water taxi- loads of people in the Plaza San Marco. Amazing architecture, love the blend of styles. Getting ready to go to my tiny bungalow at the campsite- don't know why I always get stuck in the top bunkbed! Tomorrow- starting bus tour to Rome- Ciao.
